Lourdes: 54th International Military Pilgrimage

May, 2012:

Once again May found us in Lourdes, France, at the 54th International Military Pilgrimage and connecting with North American Volunteers. Two parishioners also went and participated in uniform in several events and processions.

When we connected with North American Volunteers,
we met Ike, a wonderful service dog, who is
the first canine to enter the baths.

What fun to be with Stephi and Cecilia!

Father James O'Neal
who we met at the Canonization in Rome in 2009. Now
stationed in Oklahoma, he has never met a stranger
and can greet people in whatever language they speak!

....and just a little treat!

Every pilgrimage brings different observations and revelations. I really like to see
people running to Mass. Yes, they want to sit down, but the eagerness and
anticipation for the Mass is something that should be with us every day.
