Do You Remember Matchbooks???
Do you remember when almost every business offered matches? Well, I continue to pick them up whenever they are provided. I had a frame for posting my collection when I lived stateside. The frame isn't with me, but the match books are. More memories of wonderful people, places, food, and probably more second-hand smoke than we care to think about.....
Isn't that interesting! I used to collect matchbooks as well. They used to make albums with pages that had slots into which you could tuck the corners of the matchbooks, just like a photo album. I bet if I look around my parents' house, I could still find shoeboxes full of matchbooks and matchbook covers. I haven't thought about this for years!
